Each of the unique dining areas at the Mono Cliffs Inn creates its own mood.
While atmosphere and excellent service are a great start to an evening, it's the culinary detail that completes your outing to the Cliffs. Chef VandenHoek is dedicated to the local food movement and creates his menus by season and availability of local products. He is proud to serve up only the freshest made from scratch items on the ever-changing chalkboard menu. He relies on local farmers, producers and the Mono Cliffs own farm just up the road to provide the best local ingredients available by season.
We feature local beers on tap, locally roasted coffee and support local artisans whenever possible.
The Main Dining Room
The original general store occupied this space. The recently renovated front area now boasts large picture windows to bring in natural light and offers an excellent spot to soak in the view. History is nearby as the large oak bar and beautiful old Ice Block Cooler remain in use. Being the most heavily used dining area in Cliffs you're always captivated by the old wooden floors with its creaking character.
The McLaren room is perfect for your private Business or Party functions. Up to 40 people can dine in a warm, inviting atmosphere featuring a beautiful stone fireplace. The McLaren Room is named for local artist Linda McLaren and her artwork hangs on the walls. The room is fully equipped with a projector, screen and high speed internet to accomodate all your needs for a business lunch, wedding shower or anniversary. Combine the main dining room, and have seating for 100.
